As the spread of Zika virus especially from Latin America and Asia, you are required to follow advice for prevention and treatment.

If you have been to a country with reported cases of the virus in last 2 months, you need to check out if you have any suspected symptoms. and if you do, report it to the international office in kit or the medical institution as soon as possible. Even if you don’t have any symptoms, a blood donation is strongly prohibited in 2 weeks and be aware of potential infection.

The Zika virus, which can be transmitted through mosquito bites, is suspected of causing microcephaly among babies. The incubation period for the virus is known to last two weeks but the survival period or the virus\' pathogen is currently not yet clearly defined. There are currently 35 countries that have reported new cases of the virus in the past two months but no cases have been reported in Korea yet.

Therefore, you should remember that...

● It is highly recommended to stay in accommodation which has a mosquito net and air condition.

Wear a long-sleeved top and long pants with bright color as possible.

Use a permissible amount of mosquito repellent to your exposed skin

Summer in Korea the mosquitoes become active starts in June and lasts for 3~4 months, be careful not to bite from mosquitoes.
